For a moment, he just blinked, taken completely off guard. He could even feel the anger rush into his veins, but his voice was full of a sweet, calm tone. "A town and five providences from where I started out; perhaps almost six providences now." Apocalypse shut his eyes for a short amount of time, then returned them to visible sight. He wished to ask why she wanted to know, but kept his mouth shut and just continued to stride on.

"The reason I ask was, you don't seem to like it there.So I thought, if I knew how far it was, we could walk the same amount. And be twice as far. And no one would know where we are." She said, like she knew what he was thinking the entire time.

"Mm..." His mind worked on her words, replaying them until they registered, since he had his head in the clouds of memories. Turning his orbs to her he smiled briefly, touching her locks of hair. "That's a good idea, Amara," he murmured to her.
{ Hey Ali, why haven't you been on MSN? }

((Dunno.))
She smiled gleefully. She sighed and walked on with him. She never knew why, but she liked it when he touche dher hair, it just.... Felt nice. She sodftened her smile, until it was just a grin. It was a stupid idea, with a stupid reason, but, she went with it. For the oddest of reasons ever.

Lifting some of the strands, he twirled them about his fingers, toying with them until he regained some form of a brain. As he stopped, unwinding the hair from his hand, he replaced it with a light stroke of his hand. It amused him, for some reason. Perhaps like yarn amuses a cat, only he was far from a feline. Apocalypse did not make a move to speak, and instead turned his eyes heavenward. Within hours, the darkness would overtake them.

She sighed, life was getting boring. Same things, replaying in her head. Kisses, awkard moments, she clsoed her eyes, the pit deep down inside, the place of pure darkness, it was there, larger than life, an dit would grow, until she was consumed. Being out of touch with the human world, with her kind, kept her pure, but regaining touch, made her powerful, evil and mean.

"Amara." Apocalypse didn't use a soft or gentle voice; it was one he'd use if he were talking about any regular, boring subject that he felt neutrally about. "We've almost reached the border of Upyri Stream's province."
His cold azure eyes swept over the grass before them, the zephyrs beginning to die away as a thick, bubbling noise began. He was only vaguely familiar with this area, and it wasn't exactly the best place to travel through when the golden orb in the turquoise sky dipped below the horizon. "The next area is Murky Spring."

"Let's go." She said quietly with a nod. She sighed and dragged him across the border, though she wanted to go back home, foget she had ever met him, and live a normal life, she decided. Stick with him, he knows where they're going.... She hoped.
