EVIL EYES: THE MUMMY

After having sailed home within the dirigible which they have traveled to the Oasis of Ahm Shere and after defeating the Scorpion King, The O’Connell’s had gradually began to settle down back at their large mansion back in London. As usual, they had seemed to return to their daily lives, not worrying about a single thing which would come in their way. They felt as though after having faced death once, faced the Scorpion King as well as the army of Anubis all in one day they thought they would be capable of handling anything that was thrown their way. That, and they believed that their enemy, Imhotep had already been dead and would no longer cause any harm to them.
Or so they thought.
Upon their arrival to the mansion, Ardeth Bey had been found. However, the expression on the man’s face had been the least bit pleasing. He had always seemed to be the bringer of bad news as so Rick had thought. Rick having wanted to ignore Ardeth Bey, had simply walked into the mansion, slamming the door once his family had been inside. However Ardeth Bey had been inside with them. He had explained to them that there had been a treasure out there, two amulets, which like the Book of the Dead, had been capable of bringing life.
However unlike the Book of the Dead and the Living, the amulet had only granted resurrection. It had been only known to work for a certain amount of time, though there had been a sibling amulet, which had been capable of granting immortality permanently to the user. The only difficulty was, the amulet of immortality had been an amulet which had been constantly on the move, never in a place a second time. He had believed that there where others searching for both amulets, and that they would use it to once again resurrect Imhotep. However Rick having not wanted to go on yet another mission, had once again been begged by his family to go on yet another mission. Having agreed, Ardeth Bey had been pleased.
Secretly within the desert, a group called the Djed, who had been a secret clan like the Medjai, but with different rulings and beliefs, had been followers of Osiris, the god of the dead had been making their way to Hamunaptra, to locate the amulets. Both the Djed and the Medjai had been sworn enemies, both clans having never gotten along as both clans have been on the opposite side of the board. Unfortunately for the O’Connell’s, the Djed had already gotten to the amulet, which had been located deep within the city of the dead, Hamunaptra. They had been lead none other than by their leader who had been the reincarnation of the Pharaoh Seti I, the father of Princess Nefertiri back in ancient times, who is now known as Evelyn Carnahan O’Connell.
Unfortunately for the reincarnated Pharaoh there are still things which are in need to be learned. His mind had been shrouded with mystery, only learning things very slowly about his past and his true self, as well as his true alliance. He alone is not even fully aware of the betrayal of the High Priest Imhotep as well as Anck-su-namun, his mistress.
But unfortunately once again to our hero’s, the Djed had used the first amulet to resurrect Imhotep, along with his lover, Anck-su-namun on the night of a full moon. However…. There had still been the other amulet. The amulet which was deemed to make them immortal. One thing which the Book of the Dead was incapable of doing. Or at least that’s what they thought.
Meanwhile back with the O’Connell’s, little do they know that their long lost “Friends”, Imhotep and Anck-su-namun having been resurrected, are still on the search for the amulets. The only thing is, they aren’t aware of the awakening of Imhotep and Anck-su-namun.
Who will get their first? The O’Connell’s and the Medjai, or the Djed, Imhotep, and Anck-su-namun? Let the races begin, as you decide your fate, and your side. The fate of humankind depends on you and your decision. This is Evil Eyes, an RPG based on The Mummy series.
