Roan sighed in exasperation as a girl sitting in front of him babbled on about a topic he didn't care about enough to heart before class started. His fingers trailed through his midnight blue hair, the curls at its base bouncing lightly as it slipped from his hand. This was just another typical morning -- surrounded by people on all sides as he leaned his cheek against his palm.
He was watching the doorway intently, as if willing something exciting to happen. It was the beginning of a new semester, but he felt as if there was nothing and no one different to see. It was like he had analyzed every face, winked at every pair of batting eyes, rubbed up to every shoulder of every guy or girl he could risk a shot at.
By this time in school, however, he was beginning to tire of his old crowd. They were starting to grow old in his opinion, and he hadn't had a girlfriend or boyfriend in what had to be weeks. That would seem a stupid thing to be thinking to some of the others, but when you become a popular brat with almost everything you want out of nowhere, the world becomes dull all too soon.

Jenna could sense an overwhelming aura of boredom before she even entered the classroom she had been directed to. It wasn't as if she had expected to be wowed by - gasp, what an amazing feature! - the door or something, but she had at least hoped that this school wouldn't be as lame as the last one. So far, so sucky, Jenna thought to herself with a cheerful air. Time to spice things up a little bit.
She wasn't alone in this school - as soon as she had stepped in the front door, glancing around casually at the place that would be her new "home" since she had transfered from the old academy for gifted kids, her friend Christina had launched upon her with a hug and introduced her to all her friends. Jenna blended into them easily as she always had, laughing at the jokes at first and then taking over entirely, silently comparing outfits with the girls as she protectively straightened her red beret and flirting subtly with the guys.
Now, though, it was actually time for class. Jenna was a smart girl, and she had skipped a grade - that was how she was here when she was only thirteen, while Christina was actually a year older - but she didn't really like the learning portion of school. Oh well; looked like there was no way out of it anyway.
Slipping into the classroom, Jenna scanned the rows of desks, seeing that everyone looked about as uninterested as she had decided they would a moment ago. Hm... now, where to sit...

Roan lifted his bright green eyes to watch the girl as she entered the room. It was almost impossible to miss her -- no one else in his little group had such bright hair. Other than that, he hadn't gone out with this girl yet. To him, that was perfect.
He whistled at her, getting up and leaving the others to watch in silence as he did his own routine. Gliding around the crowd, he made his way over toward the girl. Oh, this would be an interesting time he would have today.
"Hey," he said as he got nearer to her, his tone deep. He winked at her, as well, pausing a few desk-lengths away.

Jenna tossed her head, flicking her vibrant red-orange hair back like a lion's mane. The boy that was walking over to her certainly caught her attention; to put it bluntly, as was Jenna's way, he was sexy. She giggled when he spoke to her, grinning flauntingly and replying, "What's up?"
What oddly coloured hair he had. Together, they could make peoples' eyes burn.

"Would you like me to answer you in literal meaning?" he asked, a smirk curving around his as he made he way nearer. He did his best to keep his eyes on her face rather than her body -- though he would look a bit later, when she wasn't looking.
Perching on the edge of a desk, he flashed her a smile as he finally answered, "Boredom. It's class, what else is there until you spice it up a little? Truthfully, I can't say I've ever seen you before..." He let it trail off, waiting for her to fill him in on all the details. Being the spoiled child he was, he assumed she would.
While he waited for her to answer he traced every centimeter of her face, down to the strands of her hair and the beret upon her head. She was already making him want to launch into making out with her. When his eyes found hers again, they remained there as he leaned back, clearly uncaring if the desk tipped over.

Jenna sighed gloomily. Wonderful, she said sarcastically. I was hoping for a school that was actually fun, but I guess that's pretty much impossible. I just transfered here from Alexander's... oh... you probably don't know what that is, she said, realizing for the hundredth time how different life was in public school than in a private academy. It's a place where they train gifted kids. She had no problem parading the fact that she was "special."
So far, this place seems pretty dull, continued Jenna in a light, airy voice. The only thing that's on my checklist that I've found so far is a hot guy. Jenna was known for flirting very obviously when she felt like it, which was almost always.
Jenna noticed that the boy's vision was riveted on her beret for a short moment and straightened it compulsively as she so often did, sending him a dazzling smile. It was then that she remembered that she didn't even know his name yet.
By the way, I'm Jenna Robin Ross, she introduced herself, rolling the R's to give them that unique, comical flair that existed eternally in her personality. Who are you?
In his light green eyes she could see many emotions that she had spotted in the orbs of young men before. Intense want, yearning, craving - that was common. But this cocky, self-confident assurance? She'd only spied it a few times before, and it intrigued her very much. Perhaps her first day wouldn't be so dull after all.

"Roan Allan Norbeck, at your service," he replied in his most professional voice. He tilted his head so his bangs slipped to one side of his face, leaving it easier for him to see her face. By this time he could feel the stares coming from his group over in the corner, making the hair on the back of his neck rise, but he shrugged it off to keep his relaxed composure.
He grinned then and, with a wink, told her, "It's not as dull once you learn how to pull off all the best tricks and how to cut classes." There were other things he found fun, as well, but he wouldn't go that deep just yet.
It was all too soon when the biology teacher began wobbling her way in, overweight and clearly not thrilled with any of them. He found it all too soon to let her slip away now. So instead, he hoped off the desk ( its owner seemed relieved when they could have it back ) and queried in a polite way, "Would you like to join me in the back of the room, Jenna?"

Nice to meet you, Mr. Norbeck, Jenna said with a winning smile. Maybe you could be my mentor in the art of skipping classes and more. There was a hint of suggestion in her words as she gently brushed her fingers against the inside of his arm in a soft stroke.
I'm sure it'll be an experience I won't likely forget, getting to really know you, smirked the teen.

"Oh, I'll make sure of that, Miss Ross. Coming to this school will be something you will remember for years," he whispered in a deep, suggestive tone as he stepped down the aisle of desks. Before he moved he had gotten the chance to "accidentally" brush his hand against her side, though he could see with a glance over his shoulder that the teacher and noticed and disapproved. He merely grinned in this own self-confidence as he sauntered into the back of the room.
His little group of followers trailed back to where he was. They were like sheep, wandering after their leader as if afraid to stray from the herd. Roan looked back at Jenna while he was strutting down the row, questioning her with, "Would you like to join us, Miss Ross?"
