I'm going to start off by assuming that all of you have read the rules, because everyone knows that rules are essential on any forum that has the potential to succeed. If you haven't read the rules, every single one of them, I recommend that you go to do now. They are extremely significant and breaking them could get you banned.
It's one thing to read the rules; it is another to read them and follow them. You can't just talk the talk, you have to walk the walk. Ever heard that expression? I'm sure you have at one point or another.
The rules specify that you should strive to have correct spelling and grammar. And I can understand if you have troubles with spelling or grammar, but that is what spell check is for. We all know spell check can be annoying because it underlines words it doesn't seem to like or names it is unfamiliar with (try writing a fantasy novel with spell check switched on), not to mention it doesn't include Canadian spelling, which continues to irritate me, but it can still be very useful.
Even if you have read the rules, read them again. I don't care who you are or how many times you've studied them or if you've written them on your arms in Sharpie.. read them again.
Sorry to be bossy, but the number of members disregarding the rules is starting to get very tiresome.
I'm not going to talk the talk and ignore the walk, because I'm heading off to reread them right now.
I hope you will do the same.
