Letting out one last breath, he shook his head. "No, Amara. I wouldn't. Sorry for exploding on you," he sighed, pushing himself up off the ground again and rubbing his neck. It was sore and had a few kinks in it. Snow was one thing to sleep on, the ground was another.
Apocalypse knew he was being a bastard, taking it all out on her and then having to assure he wasn't to throw her into an encasement of ice.

"It's okay," she said with a wink. "He's not half bad," she started to think, "NO! YOU CAN'T FALL FOR HIM! RUN RUN GIRL!" She ignored her head, it also had a mind of it's own, which controlled her.

He raised a brow when she winked, but shrugged it off and stood up. "And you've never been farther than this place?" he asked, looking around. He would have imagined she'd have been somewhere else other than this place. He had to be miles from his own home.

"No." She said shaking her head. "Never, this is my home, and this is where I stay." She rolled over thinking it was the ground and fell onto it. "Owwwww," she moaned. She laughed it off and sighed.

Shaking his head, he inquired, "You alright? Don't think it'd be comfortable landing on the ground like that." Swiftly, he stepped over the grass, wet with dew that made his shoes slick and nearly made him fall at one time. His eyes fell to her, gloved hands deep within his pockets.
Apocalypse knew a little bit about pain, and that ice helped in most cases for it. Because of that he had it made pretty easy with such a feeling.

"I'm fine," Amara said sitting up. She was laughing so hard she could barely breathe, she started to calmdown as eh pain kicked in. "Owwwww," she groaned. She sighed, this wasn't like her to start laughing like this.

"I don't take that last 'ow' as a 'you're fine'. Where does it hurt?" he questioned, kneeling down beside her and looking at her. In his mind, he was being cussed out, but he didn't care. Might as well try, even if it would embarrass the hell out of him.
Embarrass him. Hell, it'd do more than that, he was sure.

"I fine." She said, "It's happened before." You could see a lump growing. She didn't want to admit it, but she wasn't fine, but she would say she was until he dropped the subject. She hoped he did that soon.

"I asked where it hurt, not if you were find this time, nor did I ask if it had happened before. Now, I will ask again, where does it hurt?"
Some may have called Apocalypse stubborn, but bull-headed fit best. He always got it into his head that he would get answers. Just like he had just now.

"Fine!" She gave into the angry boy. She showed him the lump. "You saw, you're done." She flipped her hood to cover the lump on her head. She closed her eyes and almost went to sleep.

"No, I'm not." He flipped her hood back off her head, placing his hand so it was close to the lump but wouldn't touch it. Then, he started constructing a thin layer of ice to numb the pain out if it, watching out of the corner of his eye because he was sure she was going to try to break his concentration.
Stubborn girl, he thought to himself. So difficult to get her to answer one question.

She sat crossed armed and legs. "Damn, why does he have to go and try to numb it out. I'M FINE!" She thought angrily, she didn't want to break his concentration ofr she might be in a icy cast.

After a few moments, he broke the connection and left the chill to sink in. Then, he hit her shoulder lightly with the back of his leather gloved hand. "There, stubborn," he said, getting back up and slipping his hands back into his pockets.
She could be nearly as hard headed as he was. Note that he thought nearly, to Apocalypse he would still be the one with the thickest skull.

"I'm not as bad as you," she said with a smirk. She may have a think skull, though he would defeat everyone with his. She flipped up her hood. She hated when people wanted to look at her scars., it made her uncomfortable.

"Maybe not, but you're still hard headed." He leaned against the tree she had fallen from, grinning at her. "And I could be worse at the moment," he said in a darker tone, quickly following it with a gentle laugh and a tap on his forehead.
Apocalypse didn't know what to think. He had helped her, when usually he would have laughed at her and asked in his most sarcastic voice if she was okay. Normally, he would have chased her down and whispered the most sinful things he would think of in her ear, just to out nerve her. But he hadn't done what was regular to him, he had done the opposite.
