Clarissa smiled when she Heard Alacers voice. "Hey. Oh no you didnt call to soon. Im pretty impatient too as a matter of fact when you called i tripped over a shoe in the middle of the floor as i was running to the phone" Clarissa chuckled as she thought of something to say. "So one day this week would you like to get some coffee or...lunch?" Clarissa hoped she wassnt rushing into things too soon after all that afternoon she was acting pretty crazy. But now she tried as best as she could waiting for Alacer to say something.

"A shoe? That could be a hazard, you should be careful," Alacer warned, adopting a tone of false worry and caution. He dropped it at her next words. "Sure, that sounds good." Inwardly, he marveled at his good fortune... and at this random concidence. "When this week are you free?"
He tried to disguise the eagerness in his voice, tried to forget the girl Justine who he had been eyeing, the one who went to one of his classes at the university.

Clarissa ponderd for a moment "Well i work all week lond but i get off at noon if youd like to grab something then itd be great" Clarissa felt very nervous. She barely knew anything about this guy how old he was if he had a girlfriend if he had a job the kinds of things that were important but Clarissa manged to overlook them while waiting for Alacer to reply.

"Today?" Alacer cleared his throat uncomfortably, thinking of the class he was supposed to go to at 11:30. Oh well, he could miss one. He'd missed the last two anyway; if anyone asked, he'd just say he had caught a bad bout of the flu and was forced to stay home, though he longed to go to class. (Pfft, yeah right.)
"That sounds good," Alacer managed eventually, smiling for the second time and forgetting that Clara couldn't see his face.

Clariss smiled "Okay. Ill meet you at the pet shop at noon" The pet shop indeed was where Clarissa worked although she didnt exactly want to tell Alacer this quite yet. I mean once you thought about it....whats so glamorous about working in a pet shop? You get all smelly and sweaty from running around trying to get the escape artist hamster back in his cadge. But Clarissa had to cut the chit-chat as for it was already 10:00 and she had to be at work by 10:15.
"So i guess ill see you soon. Bye." Clarissa hoped she didnt sound rude but she didnt need to be late again unless she wanted to be fired. Again.
Clarissa hung up the phone and went to hurry up to get ready for work.

Blinking at the abrupt end to their conversation, Alacer muttered, "See ya," even though she had probably already hung up - indeed, he could tell by the monotone hum in his ear that indicated he was quite alone.
Suddenly becoming aware that he was still on the street, Alacer continued walking. He now had two hours to kill before meeting Clara... and why on earth had she specified the pet shop? She must work there, he decided. What a boring job... ah well, that certainly didn't mean that Clara herself was boring.
He began to head home, thinking of actually looking for something a little more respectable than his faded and torn jeans. Normally he didn't care, but... this... was different. Or at least it felt that way.

Clarissa rushed into the pet shop and groaned at the clock. "Shit. 10:30. Ugh." She sighed a deep sigh and ran and put on her apron and began to sweep the floor. "Nooooo Change clarissa hours to 10:15 She wont minddd. She doesnt have a lifee" She grumbled to herself waiting for her Boss to come in and Yell at her. "Ugh. This job sucks. I need a neww one. something exciting" She said to herself staring at the clock, like it was going to be noon and second.

A phone call from his teacher at class; they were threatening to haul him out of it if he didn't show up for the next one. How inconvenient. Sitting down on the plaid couch (it had been the only piece of furniture at the second hand shop that he could afford), Alacer wondered what he could do now...
Fumbling for the business card Clara had given him, he dialed the number - again - hoping he wasn't being rude - and waited for her to pick up, a speech on the tip of his tongue.

Clarissa perked up as she heard her cell phone begin to ring. She quickly ran over and got it out of her purse. "Hello?" she said with a perk, hoping it was Alacer.
Clarissa had no idea why but she was becoming some sort Alacer-fangirl always hoping he would call or something. And as for their date Clariss was literaly counting the seconds to it. Who was she becoming?

"Uh, hey again, Clara," Alacer began, trying to sound offhand, as though it wasn't strange at all to call two times in ten minutes. "I just realized I have a class to get to today... uh... maybe you'd want to come along? It's for computer skills... I don't know how else to make this work."
Well, that was terrible. A computer class? Smooth date, Alacer. Oh well, he had to get to that course... if they kicked him out... well... he wasn't sure what he'd do. This was important for his future.

Clarissa bit down on her tongue hearing her boss approching her from the back room. She sighed a great sigh. "Well.......I was late for work today so im acctualy getting myself prepared to get fired. So uhh... maybe sometime this weekend would be better for both of us. " Clarissa hoped she was not making Alacer feel bad but indeed her boss did have a temper and this was the third time this week she had been late, so she needed to find a new job or else someone couldnt pay her rent.
She shiverd at the thought. Her? Homeless? She had promised herself that she wouldnt let that happen.

The words were out before he could stop them.
"Fired?... Do you have a place to stay? You could stay with me for a while, if you want..." He could've sliced his tongue off. There was very little room in his apartment as it was, but with another guest... speaking of guests, was he even allowed? There'd probably be some trouble if anyone was to discover that Clara was there, if she agreed to come.
But... what was life without a little risk, right? "I'd be glad for the company," he persisted.

Cheeks turning blood red Clarissa nearly dropped her phone. "I could never impose on you like that. Im sure you dont some random stranger walking in off the streets on you like that." Oh smooth Clarissa, she thought to herself. Clarissa bit her bottom lip. "But I Will cirtainly keep your very sweet offer in mind if worse does come to worse and a fat Thai woman is screaming at me to get out of her apartment building." Clarissa released a small chuckle.

"Well, if you're sure," Alacer replied nervously, tugging anxiously on the string of his oversized black hoodie. "But you wouldn't be imposing, I swear. I... it gets lonely sometimes, really, what with most of my neighbors being seniors who don't trust young guys."
It was true; the rest of the inhabitants of the apartment building weren't a huge fan of him - to say the least - and were clearly disappointed whenever he came home from work, school or an outing.

Clarissa could literaly fall off a bridge for what she was about to say. But the words slipped out before she could stop them. "Well....alright. I suppose I could come stay with you untill I can find a decent job." Clarissa winced. WHAT Did she just agree to doing? Ahwell for the time being Clarissa was thinking about how long it was going to take her to get her stuff. All she had were clothes, shoes, and a cell phone. Not to long.
