Clarissa smiled. She called out "Just a second!" as she ran over and got her bags. She ran over to the door and opened it slowly, trying her best not to seem too anxious. "Oh, Hey Alacer." She said with a smile, trying her best not to blush. That was something Clarissa had been having a problem wih lately. Blushing. She did it all the time now.
"Well, Ive got everything packed." She picked up her duffle bag wich carried all of her things and slung the strap around her shoulder.

"Hey." Alacer gave her a warm smile and gestured out the door, leaning against it so she could go first. He wasn't usually the gentlemanly type, and anyone who knew him well would probably laugh themselves silly at this.
Noting that she didn't have very much but deciding not to mention this, he continued, "Good, we can get going, then, if you're ready to go."

Clarissa smiled as she turned around, and taking one final look at the place she used to call home, she walked out of the door, shutting it behinde her. "Yep. Im ready." She said with a smile on her face. "Kinda glad to be leaving. This place is awefull." She looked at Alacer and softened her smile. "I want to thank you again for this. You didnt have to do this you know..."

"Hm," Alacer said, glancing around at the slightly derelict building. Even if he could only see the outside of it, he could understand easily why Clarissa found it unpleasant. It wasn't a suitable place for maggots to live in, never mind a person.
"Never mind a girl, is that what you're thinking?" inquired a sly voice from one of the corners of his mind.
Brushing it off, he flashed Clara a smile. "I know that, but that's not stopping me from doing it. It's really no problem, you're welcome."

Clarissa smiled, also blushing. She began walking down the long hallway towards the stairs. Every now and again she would start to turn her head to look back at Alacer but every time, a small voice would tell her "Ah ah ah, dont make it to obvious that you like him now."
And everytime it was getting harder and harder. Finnaly, right before she got to the stairs, she looked back at Alacer and smiled lightly. She stood beside the stairway to wait for Alacer. Oh how Clarissa was very excited to be leaving this place.
Who knew? Maybe something exciting would happen.

Alacer noticed Clara blinking at him a few times and his grin grew wider before he could stop it. She was a cool chick, no doubt about it, but he thought he saw another emotion in her eyes. Then again, Alacer had never been too good at reading other peoples' thoughts. Friends of his could, but he was the opposite.
"Come on, you walk so slow," he chastised jokingly, turning around and walking backwards so that he could see her better. "Pick up the pace!" "Now all I need is to accidentally crash into someone," he thought grimly, thinking of the little dignity that remained with him.

Clarissa let out a small chuckle. "But if I'm such a slow walker then why aren't YOU here yet?" Clarissa said teasingly. She stopped laughing and settled on smiling. "So how far is it to your apartment?"
Although it didnt really matter, Clarissa just wanted to know how much time she had to talk with Alacer before she got there. Because when that happened she had to get ready to go job searching, since she planned to move out as soon as she got a job, not wanting to be a burden to Alacer, whom she barely knew anything about.

I'm actually very far ahead of you, he pointed out, turning around and resuming to walk by her side again. I'm just going so fast that I look slow. It's a scientific thing, he joked. You have to be extremely advanced in intelligence to understand it.
He considered her next question as he glanced up at the blue sky, admiring the flawless clouds as the drifted aimlessly. They reminded Alacer of himself on most Sundays. Not too long. Ten minutes, maybe. If you don't want to walk, though, I could get a taxi, he said hurriedly. He hoped she wanted to walk. Alacer doubted that he had enough cash on him to pay a taxi's heavy fare.

Clarissa let out a soft chuckle. "Oh, then there's no way I would understand." She said with a smirk. "Science isn't my strong point, you see. I'm more of a math person." This however, was a lie. Clarissa only told people she was good at Math. But in reality, she was terrible, and was more of a computer skills person. She was quiet skilled with the HTML coding and such.
Clarissa smiled and shook her head. "Walking is fine with me." Well of course it was. Clarissa took talking to someone with no listeners than talking to someone with someone she didn't know eves-dropping.

Alacer shook his head back and forth in amazement. Is that so? I can't do math to save my life. Then he remembered his "smart boy" cover. But I'm some sort of scientific genius in chemistry and stuff like that, he was quick to add. You'd never believe your eyes! He couldn't stop a slight, joking grin from slipping onto his face as one so often did.
That's good to hear. I'm the same way, Alacer confessed. In all honesty, he just loved to walk and didn't really regret the fact that he couldn't afford a car.

Clarissa couldn't help but to let an enormous grin take over her face. 'That was so cute of him to say that!' She thought in her mind, trying not to blush. "Oh I'm sure I wouldn't" She said with a teasing giggle. Clarissa nodded. "I've always loved to walk. Ever since I was younger, I've just enjoyed walking places insted of driving." She said hoping she didn't sound stupid.

Not many do, he told her with a serious nod. They all tell me I'm fantastic. Alacer laughed; he wasn't sure if he could've contained it for longer than that amount of time without exploding. As most people noticed, Alacer wasn't the kind of guy to hold in a chuckle. He could be loud and boisterous a lot of the time.
Raising an eyebrow, Alacer shrugged. He wasn't really sure what to say; one of his faults, perhaps, was that he wasn't always the most suave dude ever. He just wasn't so good with words.
So he changed the subject. Any favourite foods I should know of for future reference? Alacer hated shopping and usually lived off fast food, but he wasn't going to do that with Clara around.

Clarissa cocked a brow. "Do they say you're egotistical too?" She said, jokingly. "I'm only kidding. Intelligence is something to brag about." She said, also looking serious but then letting a small smile crack. Clarissa had never been much of a serious person. Unless of course it was a serious matter. Then you might have a little luck.
Clarissa shook her head. "I'm not much of a picky eater. I try to eat healthy. But that's not usually the cheapest option..." She said chewing on her lip. That's one thing Clarissa had the worst habit of doing. She would always have marks on her bottom lip from where she had been chewing on it. But maybe she would stop, now that Alacer was around.
[ Wonderrr why. xD ]

(( XDDDD ))
Maybe a bit, Alacer confessed with a laugh. Sometimes, around girls, especially good-looking ones, he sort of lost his head and got too full of himself. It just happened without him realizing it, much as he tried to keep his attitude in check. He had to remember that he wasn't the only one around here.
"She looks cute with that serious face..."
But his mind was clearly on other matters.
Yeah, I know what you mean, Alacer was quick to agree swiftly. When you're on a budget, it's just easier to eat what's availiable, even if it sucks.

Clarissa chuckled. "I'd never call you that. You see, when you let some random girl from off the street come live with you after you've only known her for.... A day? It's impossible to be egotistical." She said with a blush. She did feel rather bad, barging in on Alacer like she was. Clarissa had no idea about his personal life or anything. No matter she'd adjust. She always seemed too.
Clarissa nodded. "Yeah. I'd rather eat crappy food then starve any day." She said with a chuckle.
