"No, no. Trust me, even you wouldn't like what I had pictured." She said shaking her head. She had to keep refusing, she didn't want to hurt his feelings, that would be awfully mean of her.
The more he touched her, and looked at her, her heart beat started to increase. But, just then, as she looked deep into his eyes, her heart beat stopped. For only a few moments, then continued.

"It couldn't be that bad, could it?" he asked softly, placing his palm over her cheek. His eyes blinked in confusion as she didn't feel warmer than him, as she normally did. Was it the heartbeat in his chest that just now began? Did that technically make him alive, or was he still dead? It made no sense to him, none at all.
Nevertheless, his other hand reached out and found her pulling on it. He guided it to where it would be able to feel the beating of his heart, the thumping of a demon soul. It was strange, laying next to her here, a feeling building irritably in an area, but he wanted to shove that from his mind for now. There was no good to come of dark desires.

"Yes, yes it could be. And promise me, it would not make you happy." She said. Her body tempurature had dropped a little bit. Maybe she was getting sick from the rain pelting against her.
She couldn't remove her eyes from his. She let him control her body. She felt the thump, thump, of J.D's heart, though were vampires supposed to have heart beats? This, she had to research.

His head wagged from side to side. "I suppose I won't be getting anything out of you for that one." With a quiet sigh, he gazed at her face, taking in every piece of it. His fingers stroked her cheek gently, then the side of her neck. He wanted to feel what her heartbeat sounded like now, if it were racing or calm.
"Mm, your eyes," he began murmuring, admiring their hue. She wasn't like regular humans, that he was able to see clearly. Most of his words were took quiet to hear, just wisps of speech under his breath until he whispered, "... you look truly beautiful."

She nodded defensively as he said he would not get anything out of her. This was true. She was not going to give anything to him anyway. She would not talk, not speak one word about her imagination, the morbid state of her mind. The only morbid piece of her delicate mind.
Her pink eyes shifted away from him finally. They went to the wall, really quickly and returned. Her white skinned hand that was under her pillow popped out quickly. "I... really love your eyes too." She whispered looking away embarrassed.

He could feel the surprise on his face the instant she had spoken. A light, crimson heat filled his face that he quickly placed his hand to, trying to hide it from her. His eyes darted around, searching for something else to say as his thought fumbled with how to react. Compliment. He had just gotten at least somewhat of a compliment.
Normally he'd falter his victim, weave them into his web, but they'd just blush and giggle. No returned words. He was used to tormenting them as well, breaking their souls before taking what he wanted. She's not supposed to be different. He wanted to be like he always was, but his heart was beating, and that wasn't as easy to accomplish with a beating heart.

"Sorry about that J.D," she threw the covers off herself, and slid into an upright sitting position. She threw her legs over the bed, slipping them into her shoes. Standing up, she started to leave without a word.
She was a coward in her own eyes. Running away yet again, aren't we Trix? She thought. She didn't like herself when it came to moments like this. She just, hated awkward moments, and she created it too. Double whammy.

In a flash, he was up, Using one of his large wings, he set it in front of the door. "You don't need to be sorry," he told her in a quiet voice. "I have just merely never been complimented, so it caught me off guard."
He held out a hand for her to take, his bright jade eyes gazing at her from under his auburn bangs. Way to go, J.D. Let it get awkward and boom, this is what you get, he scowled mentally to himself.

"No, it's my fault. I mean, I think it's best I be going now." She said with a soft sigh. But the wing, that was there, was blocking her way out, and she not going to try and get around it. Not with it right there.
She looked at the hand, not knowing what to do with it. But she didn't take it. She couldn't, where would that lead her? What were the consequences? Did she have a choice?

"But where will you go? It is still raining out, Trix. That and it is most likely early in the morning. Not many people enjoy being woken up to let in a girl on the streets." There was no doubt that he was losing his grip on her, one he had barely had from the start.
But then an idea came to him, one he knew he should not use. "And on the streets they will find you, There is someone looking for you, Trix, and she is looking for you because she knows you are broken. She could have sent someone worse and they wouldn't hesitate to carry out her order... If you are alone someone else will come. You are in danger, Trix."

"I don't care. I mean, well, I do think it's best if I left..." She started soon, to get cut off by his made-up fantasy. She shuddered at what he was saying but kept listening closely.
"You're bluffing," She muttered to herself. "You better be bluffing. There can't be anyone looking for me. If you know, then why mean? Of all the broken people, WHY ME!?" She glared at him, somewhat frustrated.

J.D. sighed, mumbling, "I'm going to be hunted down for telling you this..."
His eyes lifted to stare directly into hers, trying to pierce through them and petrify her to keep her still. "The mark upon my throat is a tattoo embedded there from the Chaos Clan. If I were to ever leave it, the millions of incubus and succubus and half breeds there would come after me. My mission was to go after you because you were broken."
He could feel his face relax into a sad expression. His lips twisted as he bit into his lower lip, contemplating how to put the last bit. He couldn't even remember if what he was saying as fact or fiction -- it had been a while since he had seen his leader and gotten his orders. "I don't want to hurt you, Trix. Without someone with you, they will send another, and if they were to send the one I personally know, he would have no problem with doing whatever he was told to. Rape, murder, slavery... a little fun between all three. Stay, Trix. At least until the order is removed from you."

"What do you mean, are you saying you're showing me pity?" She scowled. "Because if that's what you want to give, piss off." Then, she heard it. I don't want to hurt you Trix. She blushed a hint, and turned away from him.
Biting her bottom lip, she repeated. Don't say a word, don't say a word. HEr mind, swelling in thoughts and emotions, running wild in the hazziness.

He stepped back, his head wings flattening against his hair. "No... not pity. Just a feeling that is all too compelling. Tell me, would you want someone to grab you and thrust you into some dark alley, rape you and then leave you pregnant on the streets?" His eyes glimmered with a small hint of a plea, but he wasn't sure if she was going to see it.
His arms lay limp beside each of his hips. The ivory back wings with the red chaos star on them drooped in his uncertainty. Whether it was getting through, he could not tell. Humans confused him, and he knew none of them were safe from the Chaos Clan, though the damaged ones were usually plucked off first.

"If it's not pity, then it's probably worse." She spat angrily. She hated it when people empathized, had sympathy for, or pitied her. "I guess I wouldn't," she lowered her ehad to the side, keeping herself away from him, with her back towards him. She started to glide step by step to the other side of the room.
Her two hands ran through the hair onthe sides of her head, skimming over her ears, and interlocking fingers in the back of her black dyed mess of hair. Shes hook her head, as her elbows came in front of her face, she, shaking her head solemnly. "Am I that broken?" She whispered to herself, "Am I really that bad off without Finn?"
She just continued to mutter small sayings of how pathetic she was at that point to herself. She hated herself.
