"I don't know if I should give you that chance J.D. I'd have to be to trust you with my LIFE, and I don't know if I can do that." She said softly lowering her head. "Can I?" She lifted her head to give him a soft, sad, puppy eyes like look.
She wrapped her arms around herself softly and looked towards the floor giving a barely heard gulp. What would his answer be? Should I trust him? Will he hurt me? Questions like such came across her mind in a flurry or worry.

J.D. found himself struck hard by the image of her eyes. There was a twisting in his hollow heart that I was trying to force to end, due to the large amount of agony that he was feeling that he shouldn't. Her question rang in his ears until it was the only thought on his mind.
Could she?
He rose from his spot on the edge of the bed. At first his gaze was cast down at his feet, covered by ebony shoes. Could she? He wasn't really sure. After every time he'd ever scared the fuck out of her, he didn't see a reason why she shouldn't be asking that. He wasn't used to humans. And even if he hadn't exactly ever completed a mission he'd been given, he wasn't sure he wanted to mention that, even though it might help her trust him better.
Ambulating over to her, he continued keep his eyes down a moment. Inhaling deeply, he lifted his head so he could see her. "I can not make the decision on whether you should give me a chance or not. But if not, there is but one thing I need to say to you before our paths do not cross again." He moved his hand so he tilted her chin up with his forefinger, making it so he could see her face before murmuring, "I am sorry."

She bit her lip hard thinking if she could forgive him. She winced at a sharp pain in her mouth, she had made her mouth bleed. She just closed her lips together not caring if she was bleeding. She needed to know if she should stay, or if she should go.
"I guess, I'll stay until I find out if I should stay or go." She said mostly to herself, but loud enough for him to hear, She gripped herself harder, if she did stay in the end, what would that mean.
Her heart rate started to increase, and thoughts coursed around through her mind. Was she starting to like him? Was this the reason she stayed here? To be with him? They guy who scared the shuit out of her the many times he did?

"As you wish," he whispered, moving his hand back to his side. "Think about it. But perhaps you should rest first."
He motioned with his hand at the bed she had used until falling into the floor. Though he didn't need sleep, he hadn't forgotten that she did. He wasn't sure if they needed it after stress... He really wasn't sure of half the things that were going on.
"If you are hungry, I can go get you something, as well," he offered, turning his gaze toward the lone window. It was still dark, but the sun would come up soon and he'd have to hide in his Incubus form.

"I'm fine," she muttered. "I'm not tired, or hungry." She said gulping again. She was worried if that was the right idea. She was easy to become terrified of him. She ran a hand through her hair. She sat down on the floor, her back dragging against the wall.
She returned her hand, to holding herself. She just looked at the floor silently. She was thinking. About what? One might ask. Everything. About life, suicide, death, family, hate, love, friends.

He watched in in silence for a long moment after he had turned his gaze from the window. This wasn't a time for him to be standing there. If anything else, she probably didn't want him to be around while she thought things over. If he were still human, he supposed he would want to be left alone right now, too.
"Would you like me to leave so you can think?" he inquired in a delicate voice, as he watched the darkness gradually creep away outside. Soon it would be too light for him to go out without the sun burning him.

She shrugged. "It doesn't matter." She sighed and finally got up. "I'm going out. Later," she stated, and started to leave again. She needed food, one could only stay so long without food and drink.
She opened the door, knowing she'd probably stops by yours truely. She was excpeting it, but not hoping for it. She really didn't like it when she didn't get what she wanted.

Don't think you'll get too far without me watching, little one, he thought silently, waiting for her to be out of range for her to see him. Then he could grin and try one of his many tricks. One thing he loved about being an Incubus was the ability to change the way your appearance is.
"Don't get yourself hurt," he called after her, then leaned against the wall. The sun seemed to have crept up over the horizon, for now he could see he would die if he became even half vampire. He supposed he was just lucky he wasn't full blooded vampire, otherwise this would be a hell of a lot harder.

"Funny, you actually haven't stopped me yet." She retorted, keeping her back to him with a smirk. She closed the door behind her and started to walk away from the lonely room. Something, just didn't seem right.
Sighing, she shoved her hands into her pockets, hung her head, and stomped depressed down the stairs that should have gotten her up there. But didn't. She remembered that he had scaled up the wall, her in his clutches, bringing her to the room.

Taking a breath, he held it. I don't think leaving her alone for a few hours would kill her... He exhaled and nodded to himself. This could work. It had to work. He took to opening the door and slipping out himself soon after she had left.
As he made the trip down the stairs -- faster than what she was -- he slowed a few steps below her. He glanced over his shoulder at her, saying, "I have some things I need to do in town. Are you coming back here or do you wish for me to scavenge around to find you later?"

"Either or," she stated. "If I'm not back by the time you get there, you might as well know what to do." She sat down on the banister and took off. She slidd down quickly, managing to keep a steady speed, and quick pace.
Once her feet made contact, she started for the lobby. People gave her funny looks, but she just smikred and walked through the door of the inn.

He paused on the stairway, allowing her to go on before he did. It didn't really matter. J.D. still had to figure out what he was trying to accomplish and what the hell he was trying to do anyway.
{ Hope you don't mind that I'm skipping time. }
As the evening turned to darkness, he gazed up at the moon in the sky. It's gibbous form glimmered, silver beams of light filtering down over the buildings and over him. The rays caught on what he held beneath his arm.
"Suppose it's time to find out whether she went back or if I have to track her," he sighed, letting his form slip into that of a vampire. He could feel his fangs against his mouth, and his thirst was beginning to make his throat dry. But that mattered not to him right now as he ambled down the street, angling in to the range of the inn before darting past everything in a blur too quick for the human eye to see, until he stood outside the room.

(Don't mind at all... IT will be faster to get to the tracking.)
She forgot what time it was, she was thinking about. The one type of topic. The one type of topic that could cross her mind at the moment. She hadn't looked up at the sky for hours. Or up at all. She didn't want to.
By the time she did lookm up, it was getting quite dark. She shrugged, she didn't want to live by his rules. Maybe, she could make it to the end of the town, before he could find her. She started to run, he was fast, she knew that. And she had a little time, before he started to look aynways.

Impatience was getting the better of him. It didn't take more than a few minutes for him to go back out the door of the lobby. He was not allowing her to get away from him, not now. Time was one thing never liked wasting in the night, and he wasn't going to begin now and have to track her across a whole country if she could actually get that far.
His gaze went to the darkened sky, his sense of smell trying to pick up a scent. Tracking wasn't something he usually had to do, but he sure as hell would tonight. One was faint and familiar, drifting along the breeze... and he took it. Even if he wasn't going to let her see him, he would find her.

She knew he'd find her sooner or later. So she stayed in the shadows. Running for the entrance of town, the entrance, that would lead to the cemetary, then she could find her way home. She couldn't see the end to the long road, but she'd find it.
She needed out. Who knew what would become of her next. And frankly, she didn't want to find out at the moment. She knew what happens if she got J.D. mad, and she always did, and it ended up with her getting scared shit.
