"Why does it have to rain?" Tod whined, trying to hide from the rain in Aasta's coat.
Of course, Aasta's outfit wasn't fit for the rain, with ankle high boots, pants that fell to the toes, and a long coat that was soaked with Tod's head peeking out from the coat collar, while Aasta attempted to keep the rain out of her face. "Well, you could always get us somewhere dry!" Aasta pointed out.
"Oh! Turn right!" Tod ordered, and Aasta rolled her eyes.
She walked slowly down the slippery road, trying not to fall, while Tod just made sure she didn't trip over anything and look stupid. "Hey, we're almost there! Just don't...AH!" Tod stated, just as Aasta slipped.
Aasta moved and made sure she hit her back instead of crashing onto her front, thus accidentally harming Tod. Unfortunately, she also hit her head hard enough to knock herself unconscious, a small trickle of blood going across the pavement. Tod got slowly out of the coat, feeling a little woozy. "Are you OK Sa'd?" Tod asked, just in case anyone was listening in.
When he got no answer, he started to panic a little. "OK Tod, first cover her mouth so she doesn't drown in the water," he stated, taking her coat in his teeth, he pulled her coat collar over her mouth.
He sighed and then let out a loud, sharp, yip, then another. In fact, he was going to keep yipping until someone came out to help her. "Sa'd wake up!" Tod shouted, still feeling a little woozy.

Rafe could feel the rain splattered against his leather jacket, as well as on his face. It left cool droplets of liquid to spiral down his cheeks and drip off his chin. His ebony hair was plastered against his forehead from the wet atmosphere, his vans -- not the best type of shoe to be wearing in the rain -- making a sloshing noise to accompany the chime of the charm on his collar that hung around his neck.
He had just touched the tip of one of the spikes on it when he heard a sound like a "yip." Cocking his head to one side, he listened for a moment, trying to pick out what it was saying. Before he knew it, he was sprinting down the blocks, passing houses in a blur of obsidian. It wasn't until he came to the street he could hear the sound from that he stopped, and when he did he nearly slipped.
"Holy... !" For a moment he was dumbstruck by the sight of the crimson liquid seeping from the girl, the scent of it curling beneath his nose and filtering into his senses. Shaking his head, he slammed his emerald eyes shut for a moment to gain focus, then opened them again and loped over to her. When he did, he lifted his eyes to the fox after he had knelt beside the girl.

"Are you going to help?" Tod asked, looking lost.
He was just a fox, well a pact partner fox who could talk, but he couldn't help Aasta. And he was feeling worse, as Aasta's life slipped away. "Please," he added, now feeling really bad.
He sat down, curling his tail around his feet, the rain soaking his fur to his body, making him looked like a drowned rat. 'You always have to be so troublesome, don't you Aasta?' he asked in his mind, hoping for the usual witty comeback.

"I can try," he said quietly. His fingers touched the crimson liquid for a mere moment before removing his leather jacket. His teeth closed down on a section of his sleeve, the glittering, ivory fangs much more suited for the jaws of a canine rather than his boy. He ripped it from the other half of the fabric, then took it into his hand.
Carefully, he lifted her head, pressing the cloth to the wound. It stained quickly, and he frowned at that. "The bleeding needs to end," he mused lightly, but that was obvious enough. But he wasn't trained in this. Heaving a sigh, he glanced toward the fox.
"She needs to get out of the rain before she catches cold... and then we need someone who actually knows what they're doing," he continued to ramble as he swiftly stuffed his arms into the sleeves of his jacket. His eyes lifted to the fox once more as he asked, "Is there a problem with you, if I carry her to somewhere drier?"

"Just as long as she is helped, I don't mind," Tod stated, really feeling woozy know.
'Is this what it feels like to die slowly?' he wondered, shaking his head to clear it. "Let's hurry please. Time is running short," Tod stated, shaking his fur all over to shake the rain off.
A rumble of thunder followed by a lightning flash that lite up the area didn't help Tod in the slightest. He didn't like the rain, that decided to come down harder now, nor did he like lightning. "Why does it have to rain so hard?" he growled slightly.

"If you'd be able to run with my jacket thrown over you, I'd let you use it. It's much too warm out for me, really," he mentioned, lifting the girl carefully. His hand pressed the cloth, though it was going to be soiled in no time, against her wound as he scanned the area quickly. He could always run, but he wasn't sure if the fox would be able to keep up with his speed.
As he looked back at the animal, however, he blinked at the sense he received. "Are you going to be able to even walk in this storm?" he queried slightly. "I could always run with the both of you, it might be faster." Now wasn't exactly the time to explain how that could possibly be faster, nor for introductions. Time was running short.

Tod thought for a moment, and then answered, "I think I can keep up. If not, I'll just follow my feeling."
He stood up, and looked up. "Despite my size, I think I can. Besides, you smell weird, thus you will be easy to follow, even in this awful weather," he added.
As the rain poured down, he felt his fur cling to his body, making him look even more like a drowned rat. He only felt a slight wooziness, and he shook a little.
((OOC: Sorry for the shortness, but I have to go))

{ .OOC. 'Tis okay. }
"Alright," he said, then drew in a breath. He could hear the charm on his collar jingle as his head lifted slightly, and he took off. The sound of the splashing of water made him with to shake as if he were a wolf at the time, but he remembered what he was doing and kept to only his loping.
He glanced back, however, to make sure the fox could keep up. It wasn't hard to stay at a pace that the fox could keep up with, though he would have liked to go faster. The wind against his face, whipping his hair... on dry days, anyway. Today it would just stick.

Tod ran after him, staying within sight of the person. 'I won't let him get out of my sight,' he thought, not thinking about the evil weather.
Tod nearly ran for cover when the thunder boomed loudly, accompanied by lightning lighting up the sky, He let out a soft sound before running a little faster, his paws nearly slipping out from underneath him on the wet street. He picked up the pace slightly while complaining about how he looked like a drowned rat, and how only Aasta could only like the rain because it helped her precious plants.
He let out a soft growl, and only paused for a few seconds to shake his fur a little before running after the weird smelling guy again. "Hey, what's your name?" Tod called out, wondering if he would say or not.

"Rafe," he called back to the fox. "Rafe Gabriel Tatukiss." He slowed down to a stop, watching the animal. It had been a while since he talked to an animal rather than a human. It hadn't occurred to him yet that foxes were not supposed to speak the human tongue, since he could understand it anyway.
Seeing how the fox looked completely drenched, he offered, "You can see if you'd be able to fit under my jacket while I run. It's most likely drier than trying to keep up with me in this mess." He could still feel the pelting rain against his skin, pasting his hair against his forehead. It was cool, compared to the feeling of warmth on his skin.

"There might be an open something near by. After all, it seems odd that every building here is occupied," Tod stated, ignoring the offer of a jacket.
He did not accept charity and he wanted to make sure Aasta remained safe. He stopped next to Rafe and looked up at him. "She's called Sa'd and I'm called Tod," he added, and already walking again.
A loud roll of thunder made Tod jump, his slicked fur sticking out only slightly, and he let out a growl up at the sky. "How can she like this evil weather?" he growled out, swishing his tail.
In Rafe's arm, Aasta made a soft sound, and Tod looked impatient. "Let's get going Rafe!" he snapped pacing a little, as Tod was following Rafe.
The rain dropped down, only now it felt colder. In fact, it wasn't rain any more. The rain had become sleet, and Tod shivered. "Let's hurry," he added.
Tod stared at Aasta, worry etching across his features, and he still felt woozy, but it hadn't gotten worse. 'She's not dieing anymore, or she's dieing really slowly,' he thought.

"Alright." Rafe took off again, faster than her had before. It was still a slow pace to him. He enjoyed it more when the case wasn't life threatening and he could freely go as fast as he liked. When a piece of the sleet his his head, he shook it as if he were a canine.
Partly, he was.
He took note of what he was doing and stopped, fearful of Tod figuring out what he was. A werewolf. That was the last thing he wanted them to know. Not yet, anyway. He wasn't sure how exactly they would react to a half human, half wolf creature.

Tod ran like the wind after him, keeping note of his paws. One good thing about foxes, they were usually good on their feet. 'Except in this evil weather,' he added in thought.
He jumped slightly, covering a little more ground then just running, and he noticed that the sleet more snow then rain. "How did it get so d***ed cold so fast?" Tod snapped, his fear for Aasta giving him the reason to use a curse word.
He also added to his mental list of notes that Rafe had some canine qualities. Of course, that put him up in Tod's tiny little 'people to respect' list. Rafe was now actually on it, while Aasta was at the [i[very[/i] tip top of it right after Tod himself.
With another jump he ran at about 2 feet behind Rafe with Aasta and he slowed to a stop, seeing a door that was a little open, though he had stopped because of exhaustion. "Rafe! Back here!" Tod called up to him, running a little to try to get Rafe's attention.
After calling he let out a sharp, loud yip. If he didn't have to, he wasn't going to allow Aasta to stay in the rain any longer then he had to. 'After all, I am her protector as well as her eyes,' he thought, his tail waving like a drenched flag to signal where he was.

Rafe slowed his pace to pivot and face Tod. He trotted over to the fox with his head ever so slightly tilted to one side. One who knew where they intended to go rarely paid attention to open doors, and because that was a trait of dearest Rafe, he hadn't taken a shred of notice. However, he wished to believe and heed Tod's words, not wanting to remain in the rain much longer.
His eyes traveled to who Tod had referred to as Sa'd. The cloth, damp with both the crimson liquid and the once rain, was still pressed against the wound on her head. For a moment when his verdant orbs looked at the fox again, he pondered if he might have seen the act where Rafe had shown a canine quality, rather than a human trying to hide beneath their jacket. Suspicious was all he was afraid of now, next to if there was a gun beyond the jarred door.

"I'll go check the place out. As this door is barely opened, I'll just sneak through," Tod stated, and easily slipped through the crack do to his size.
There was a leak, and the it smelled musty, like no one had been in here for awhile. He trotted around, and found no sign of life outside some mice, which became a quick snack. He struggled for a few seconds to open the door before just slipping back out, sitting in front of Rafe. "All clear!" he reported before slipping back in.
He then poked his head out and asked, "Need any help?"
