Crash trudge through the thick morning fog, his wing tip dragged on the ground. The noble stag carries his head high, his neck was craned into an arch. His silver coat made him see able, but barely. He stopped and lowered his head to a small stream and began to sip the water. He raised his head and glanced around for any mischievious faeries, so far, the cost seemed clear.

Konozen stumbled blindly through the thick mass of fog, his cobalt void blinking in confusion. He was unsure where he was or where he was going, or even how far from home he had come. What was it that Mal had said before he went out? "Don't go too far out, Zen. You'll get lost again."
"Well, big brother," he sighed, "it seems I'm lost again." Peering around, he tried to see, but to no avail. His eyes weren't trained against weather conditions like this, only against the sandstorms they had occasionally, and the rare times of rain. Taking a breath, Konozen called out, "Is anyone there?" in hopes that someone would answer him.

Crash's harks twisted and he turned his head to see a Human. He seemed to be lind in this fog. "Yes boy, I am here. Step forward three paces and you shall see me." The stallion stood watching Konozen.

The voice startled Konozen, making him stumble backward a step. "Who is that?" he asked, a fear curling inside his chest. He could feel his heartbeat begin to race, thumping loudly in his neck and wrists. "Who is there?"
His face had gone ashen from the fright he had received. But, curious all the same, he took a step forward. The fog felt gelid against his skin while beads of sweat formed on his brow. Where was he? He hadn't a clue, and if he could have seen where he was going, he might actually have run.

Crash watche dthe human, seeing that he wasn't going to go the last two steps, he moved towards him. He may have looked like a horse, but he wasn't. He studied Konozen then spoke. "Do not fear me, for I am Crash. You look a little lost."

"Y-yes," he stuttered, instantly blushing from hos he stumbled over his words. Trying to compose himself, he cleared his throat. "I am Konozen, Konozen De Lorme." He knew he must look like a fool now. And what in the world was that? A horse? He couldn't be sure. And the last time he checked, horses didn't talk.

Crash gave a slight nod. "It is a pleasure to meet you Konozen." Crash streched out his wings span. At this point you could see them even if you were almost completely blind in this misty fog. Crash folded his wing up again. "Would you like me to help you get out of here?"

"Uh..." He stood dumbfounded a moment. Okay, so it talked, looked like a horse, and had wings. What creature has those three things? He faltered at finding the answer, and finally let it go. "S-sure, I guess. I don't see how you could possible see to get out of here, but..."

Crash laughed. Poor kid seemed a little clueless at this point in time, but it didn't really matter. "Well, first of all, I can see better than you. And second, I can fly over the fog." He cruver his neck and looked over his shoulder. The path Crash had already been taking seemed to be the safest and clearest. He started to turn to face that direction, but stopped midway. His left side face Kon. "Walk or ride?"

"I've never even ridden a horse," Konozen admitted. "I would look more of a fool trying to hang on than I do walking through this fog right now." Cautiously, he stepped toward the creature. He was still unsure what to call it. A horse with wings? But he knew it had some special name. He just could not remember what it was at the moment. In a timid manner, his hands fluttered into his pockets uncertainly, his eyes cast down.

Crash watched the boy for a moment then turned. He walked on, but slowly so Kon could keep up and not get lost. His ears twised and turned, gathering up every sound, and analizing it in his brain to figure out if it was danger ous of not.

Timid as a tiny field mouse, Konozen slipped along behind this strange creature. It was fascinating, if not terrifying all at the same time. His voice was a quiet shudder of vibrating words that sounded like a stutter when he queried, "May I ask what you are? I don't mean to sound rude, but I cannot recall what kind of... um... animal, you are." He wasn't sure between the words of creature and animal, and had chosen animal only because he believed it sounded less cruel. He trembled silently within himself after his inquiry, unsure if he had made a fool of himself or not.

Crash glanced back at Konozen. "It is fine. I am a Pegasus." He proudly streched his wings straight up, which was very high. He then folded them again and walked on.

"Pegasus can speak?" Konozen blinked, dumbfounded. "I had thought they merely had wings and could fly..." His shrug was slight and awkward, his eyes fixed on the ground now. He felt uncomfortable not knowing at first that Crash was a Pegasus and how little he knew about such creatures. The loss of information bothered him, and he inquired lightly, "Why were you out here?"

Crash suddenly stopped and glanced back at Kon. "I could acctually ask you the same question, but since you asked first... This is my land. I claimed it recently for my clan, the Wolke Clan. Now, mind explaining why you are here alone? I don't see any sense in being alone out here at an age like yours." He stared at Konozen. The fog started to lift and things were becoming clearer.
