Konozen lifted his head to gaze at a clock at the wall. "It shouldn't be more than an hour until it's turning night and the breeze will be too light to carry the sand," he said, the faint ticking audible in the enclosure as it echoed off the walls. He looked to Crash then, not really sure what to do for him until then. It was crowded in this room, but outside his mane and wings would surely be coated in a thick layer of grains by the time night fell.
Perhaps time will go a little faster today, Konozen thought. It was extremely doubtful, just like that it would start raining out of nowhere, but just maybe. They had made it to sunset, at least, the colours pouring through the lone window to make patterns of red-orange dance across the floor and walls.
{ .ooc. Would you like to time skip to the night? }

Crash stood there silently for a moment longer then looked at Konozen. "An hour? I suppose I can wait that long." He grinned and glanced back at the window. A few minutes passed before Crash finally laid down on the hard floor again. He rested his head on the floor as well and stared at the wall in front of him. He could only hope the time would fly by.
{ ooc: yeah sure. }

The sun trudged down below the horizon at long last, leaving the world a dark universe of azure. Stars sparkled high above, ivory speckle freckling the dome above. A crescent moon glowed silver with them in the atmosphere, filtering beams of light over the landscape.
"The wind should be died down enough for you to fly without the sand causing you problems now," Konozen stated, standing. His legs felt stiff and he wobbled slightly at first, but he was able to keep from collapsing. The last thing he needed was to make a fool of himself.

Crash looked at Konozen and stood as well. He pranced in place to get the feeling back in his legs. "I can't wait to open my wings again." He looked out the window then at the closed garage door.

"I can imagine. They're huge compared the the space available in here." Konozen strode over to the door, pushing it open and poking his head out into the night.
There was a soft breeze that caught in his hair, but he couldn't feel any grains of sand skidding across his face. Not yet, anyway. Stepping out he peered up at the moon from his place, bathed in the silvery light. He turned to Crash and smiled, stating, "I don't feel any sand, so it should be good enough conditions to fly in."

Crash walked out into the moon light as well and looked at Konozen. He then spread his wings and streched them out. "Ah, it feels nice to finally open these wings again." he smiled at Konozen. "Again I thank you."

Konozen smiled at Crash. "Hopefully they aren't too stiff to fly with since you stayed in there so long," he said sheepishly. The night was growing cooler and he could feel it in his bones. He nodded to the Pegasus as a way of acknowledgment. "You're welcome."

Crash looked toward the sky. "Well, let's see if my wings are too stiff to fly." He chuckled and took off at a full gallop. He'd be back to say good-bye, but he really needed to get into the air. As his wings spread they quickly caught the right air under them. He have one might stroke of his powerful wings and took off into the sky. He gave one large lap around the area and landed not too far off. Crash walked over to Konozen. "Yep, flying feels nice."

Konozen grinned at Crash. "Good. It must feel like ages since you were in the skies, being in that room for so long," he commented with a shake of his head. Then he lifted his gaze to the Pegasus, knowing he would want to get off soon. "I imagine you want to get a good start, since you want to be out of the desert by dawn."

"Yeah.. I don't suppose u want last ride either." He glanced over at the front door of the house then looked back at Konozen. He almost thought he had seen something.

"The first time was trauma enough," Konozen said, laughing. He felt as if it had been a long time since he had laughed over anything either of his brothers said or did. Perhaps he was getting a bit too sour to really know what was funny anymore. Whatever the case, he grinned at Crash, saying, "I hope you have a smooth trip back."
{ Try not to use chat speak in character. I don't know if you noticed it or not but you typed "u" instead of "you." }

"Perhaps we'll run across each other again," he said with a grin. This was short lived as he heard someone call his name from the house. "Oh. I'll have to leave now, too, then. Mother must have gotten home. See you, Crash." Waving to the Pegasus, he turned to return to his house, knowing he was in for hell for being outside so long.

Crash watched as Konozen ran off, and as the boy waved good-bye he reared up on his hind legs. "Good-bye!" He called. He then lunged forward into a gallop and took to the skies. He then turned and flew over Konozen's house into the right direction to his home. As he flew over, is wings brushed against the roof of his house. Crash grinned and climbed upward into the nights cool sky.
