Crash thought for a few moments before answering. "No not as of yet. I'm normally too bussy flying." He grinned. "Do you enjoy asking many questions?" He asked curiously, hoping it wouldn't make the boy feel like he was being irritating, because he wasn't. Crash just believed that one that asks many questions just likes to know alot.

"I'm just a bit too curious sometimes," he admitted sheepishly. "And I actually probably would have been frightened to come on these lands if I had known it belonged to a clan. It would make me feel like I might get ambushed if I didn't know them," he explained with a shudder. He hoped that didn't sound mean of him, but in truth he would have felt that way. Large groups tended to frighten him, though he was ashamed of that when his big brother wasn't afraid of them.

"Ah well, I'm not one that just wanders into other lands either." He grinned a casual equine grin. "So how much farther must I fly till we reach your home?" Hopefully things would start looking fimiliar for this boy. It was bit tiring to fly with some one mounted on your back.

"Um.. If I could see a sandstorm brewing I'd know more were I was..." Konozen knew he sounded too uncertain about the area. "I live in a place called the Desert of Dark Illusions, you see. We have sandstorms often." More like every day. It was easy to see it, just difficult to see through. Anyone would probably ask how one wanders through the desert and doesn't even realize how they got so far from it. But if you were Konozen, it was possible.

OOC: we don't have to make a new thread to say we are there do we?
Crash gave a slight nod. "Very well then." Not long after he said that did he feel the wind current under his wings go from cool to warm. He took in the scent the wind carried, and that wasn't the only that it carried, bits of sand was floating around as well, and Crash snorted slightly. Damn it, one of two things I hate about deserts... The fact the sand some how gets in my nose, and because once I land where there is a sand storm, I cannot get back up due to my wings being weighs down with the grainy substance. He released a quiet sigh and gave a stroke of his wings, making them go a bit faster throw the sky.

{ .occ. Not if you don't want to, and I don't really feel like making a new thread really. }
Konozen pulled the bandanna around his neck up over his mouth and nose to keep out the sand. "If I had something specially designed for horse-like creatures, I'd give you something to keep the sand out, but I don't know if it'd be possible to keep a bandanna on your nose while flying...," he apologized. They didn't even have horses out in this place that he knew of, and most of the dogs and felines were hairless. It was too warm and there were too many sandstorms to really have many animals there.

Crash Snorted once more before speaking. "It is fine, I will survive." He had flapped his wings more often now, and each time the sand that pact up into his feather would fall out. It was goin to be hard to fly out of here, and he may not even do it till night time. Finally after a flight threw the sand he landed. He had come across a house, whether it was the boy's home or not, he didn't care. He needed to get to the ground for a little bit.

Konozen slid off from the Pegasus's back. "Closer to the Town Square there's not normally any sand," he said. "If you want to stop and rest a while before have to deal with that once more... It must seem sort of stupid to have a town out here in the desert, huh?" Now it was a bit of a nervous reaction to speak, because he wasn't sure what the silence would bring.

Crash looked at the boy and nodded. "Very well, but which direction is your home so we can get out of here quickly when I am done resting?" He shook some of the sand from his wings and snorted. The sand was annoying. His wings vanished and became one with him. He now looked like your everyday horse. He looked back to Kon and waited for the reply.

"South of the 'Square," he answered, pointing out the direction. "You may wish to stay away from it, though. I haven't a clue how long I've been gone, and Mal might be angered by my absence. Mal is my older brother," he added quietly, thinking about how he may have disappointed his brother. One thing he never wanted to do was make Mal angry with him.

Crash shook his head. "No, I will come along. If is is fine with you of course." He shook his body and let the sand that gathered on his body fall. It was a good thing he had put his wings away when he did because it seemed the sand was getting a little thicker.

"It's fine, I just don't know how long I've been gone..." He knew the excuse seemed pitiful. Though he was fifteen, he found it important to live up to his older brother's expectations, no matter how impossible. "I wasn't supposed to go that far out, either, because I have to work and we can't afford for us to miss any days except on vacation..." Konozen shook his head, unsure why he was explaining.

"Well then," Crash glanced around the stared down at the boy. "let us go to your home then, and not waste any more time." He stood waiting since he wasn't sure which way to go.

Konozen nodded, still a bit uncertain. He guided Crash down the street into the Town Square, trying to keep away from others' sight. They could have used the back alleys, but that was not only a horrible place to visit, but a lot of gangs liked to gather in them. The thought wasn't very appealing to him, and he kept on. It wouldn't be long until they were outside his plain, gray house that seemed far beyond saving from ultimate doom -- even though there wasn't much to doom it with.

Crash followed close behind Konozen and snorted every so often to keep the sand from building up to much in his nostriles. He gave a shake of his mane then his entire muscled body. How could there be so much freacking sand in one place?! Not even Crash was used to this kind of extreme.
When the house came to view he examined it with his eyes. There didn't seem anything to exciting 'bout this home, but He was sure it was better than living outside in the sand... Too bad he was a equine and not some kind of human creature, or for that matter a human, otherwise he'd be begging to hide inside the house. Damn sand... Was the main thought that raced through his mind.
